Art journals and altered books are where I get to play, experiment and let loose. I only create in my books for myself. Not only are they a solace when times get hard, they are a place to record life’s celebrations as well. And sometimes, it’s simply a place for me to experiment with a new technique or art material. Have you heard? I’ve created a Patreon page! Patreon is a subscription service that allows you to pay a creator a small monthly fee, in exchange for exclusive content. In my Patreon, I’ll be focusing mainly on the topic of art journaling and altered books. Here’s what you’ll get when you subscribe…..
1. One start to finish process video, where you can watch me complete a spread in one of my books, step by step.
2. One chatty journal flip through video, where you can slow down and enjoy one of my completed books cover to cover.
3. One video where we experiment with an art supply. Sometimes this will be something new I’ve never tried. Other times, it will be something tried and true I’ve used for years.
All of this is exclusive content…..only available to subscribers. I will also be providing early access to digital products that can be fun to use in your own journals. And finally, I plan to host some “art journal Jam” sessions via Zoom, where we can meet online together, and geek out about all things art journaling and altered books!
